Step 15 Continued

My plan for my picture is the following:
I will think of how I want the superheroine to look like. I will take the picture in a place that is natural so it looks like a place that I can actually talk about the subject. I will take the picture looking calm and worried at the same time. I will take the picture with a camera from school, and I will take it back once I finish taking the picture. I will edit the picture on photoshop because I heard that it is the best program to edit photographs. I will put the features I described at first and I will make the effects look real enough for people to believe in. I will do this probably tomorrow or next class.

MYP areas of interaction and Superheroine problem

This problem relates to the following areas of interaction. It relates to community and service because I am trying to make people understand and take action to help prevent the problems. It relates to approaches to learning because I am learning many new things and I am trying to teach other people about these problems. It relates to health and social education because it involves people healths and their thinking of theirselves.

Step 15

I will take the picturte with the new idea I have for the costume. I will take the picture as soon as possible, if possible, next class.I will take a camera take the picture, then I will use the softwares available to make the imge better and put in all the important details.I will get these from home or from school. Most possibly from school. I decided to change my costume because I thought that what i had before was too complicated, and it would take a lot of time to get the whole wardrobe, so i thought of something I had at home, something more simple, that I could get in time, and much quicker.

Step 14

I see that the strengths of my classmate's work are the following:

-They are very original and they do not make their costume too complicated.
-Their research was always related to their topic.
-Their work was accurate.
-They had an original name.
-Had a very good idea of how they were going to work the problem.
-used appropriate kanguage and the work made sense.

The weaknesses of my classmate is:

- Has to write a little more on their steps.
- Has to use more words to explain.

New Superheroine costume

Pants and shirt that are red and white. The costume I described at first is too complicated. I already have an idea of what Im going to wear.

Superheroine problem investigations

Leukemia is type of cancer. Cancer is a group of related diseases. All cancers begin in cells, which make up blood and other tissues. Cells grow and divide from other cells as the body needs them. When cells get old, they die and new cells replace them.Sometimes this ordinary process goes wrong. Cells form when the body does not need them, and old cells don't die when they should.Leukemia begins in blood cells. In leukemia, the body produces abnormal blood cells. These are leukemia cells. At first, leukemia cells work almost normally. In time they might crowd around, blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

My superheroine problem consists against fighting leukemia and AIDS. I chose this problem because I thought it would be interesting to teach people that there are diseases that you can actually prevent and contribute to people that actually have these diseases and they die everyday because of them. I want people to know that these diseases are important to me, but mostly to people that have them.

If i were a superheroine Part 2

My name is Healthwatcher. My superpowers are that I can cure any disease in the world. My arch- enemies are Dr. Leukemia and Master AIDS. I've been having problems with them for a while, and they have been taking over innocent people, and I need to make them stop. People are scared and they ask for help. I need to do this. I can't use my problems on everyone ecause more and more people are taken over by Dr. Leukemia and Master AIDS. The worst part is that these enemies kill people after they give them a hard time, just because they like to see them suffer. I make healthy people cautious of these problems, and together we work to cure this. I give scientists and doctors a bit of my powers,so they can make cures themselves, suddenly it all stops dissappearing and everyone gets better, but its not enough, not everyone is concious, so the curing is still in progress. AT the end Healthwatcher is supoosed to be the victor, but there is still more work to do.

If I were a superheroine

If I were a superheroine, I would focus on grave problems of the world. I thought of the sicknesses that interest me the most. These are leukemia and AIDS. Leukemia and AIDS will be my arch- enemies, and my powers will be that I can cure any disease, but in time. There will be difficulties, like more people get sick of this everday. I want to show everyone that could be my superhero, if they collaborate and help to do this problem.
